2019 Mentors

We proudly present our Mentor program!

Being a newcomer on a competitive scene can be very difficult and we wanted to make the Montréal Sword Meisters experience the best it can be for all of our competitors. As such, we have reached out to respected and acclaimed members of the HEMA community to be available to mentor new fencers during the event. Our Mentors have agreed to take some of their time at Montréal Sword Meisters for you, whether through helping you finding your game, coaching a fight, helping you interpret a source or simply to meet new people and their clubs.

You’re nervous about your first tournament? Your coach can’t come to the event? You or your group don’t know many other fencers? The Mentors will help you! All participants will be identified with a lanyard with their name and the tournament logo – Look for the red identification tags to find a Mentor, and read their biographies on their pages!
